The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies to the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering expert services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency explained it is alarmed regarding the high variety of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a large range of clients/beneficiaries to website access SASSA services.

“This can be mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no totally functional office devoted to service the area on a regular basis. The services stage here produced for intervention encounters a large inflow of probable beneficiaries, that makes it challenging for your office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra methods to permit the servicing of all consumers and improve usage of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
